I recently asked everyone to let me know if they suspected they had already had the coronavirus at the beginning of the year, and 100 people responded, most of whom were convinced that they had already had the disease, and some claimed to personally know someone who had.

The stories are similar – extreme weakness, unusually high fever, pneumonia or at least a severe cough and shortness of breath, extremely severe muscle pain throughout the body, complete inability to function at home and work. Many also reported a loss of smell and taste, which is not an unusual symptom in a viral infection, but has recently been often associated with the coronavirus (it is necessary to replenish it, because it is the basis of immunity).

Based on these stories, one might think that the coronavirus swept through Poland in January and February.

Today, it is diagnosed only on the basis of a similar list of symptoms.

Can we also diagnose ourselves retrospectively?

On international forums I see exactly the same stories starting in November, e.g. in New Zealand and very large numbers of people since December in England and other parts of the world.

Can thousands of such almost identical stories be a coincidence?

This is what I heard, and I quote:

I’m 90% sure my dad had it in January. He was so sick that he was suffocating, and the doctor told him that it definitely was not ordinary pneumonia. At that time, no one thought about the corona. For 2 weeks he was unable to talk on the phone because he was suffocating.

We also had the “flu” in January. It knocked out all 8 people in the house. I hadn’t been this sick for years, and whoever came to help us was sick afterwards. I wish there were antibody tests!

We’ve already been through it: my husband, me and my daughter, as well as the whole store where my husband works. Everyone got infected very quickly from each other, everyone had strong flu symptoms and a very strong cough. I went through it gently, because I have been supplementing vitamin C for years.

In February, my fiancé came back from abroad, and I fell ill like never before: bone pain, fever (although I don’t remember ever having fever before), plus a very strong cough, my partner had the same symptoms, and my son had laryngitis. We were lying in the hospital, and the cough lasted for another month.

And so on and so forth, from all over the world.

My personal story, on the other hand, is that at first I had a sore throat for a long time, but I downplayed it a bit. I didn’t have time to take care of myself, so sometimes I took a sip of ABC, and sometimes I sprayed propolis down my throat, but that was it. In fact, my condition did not change, and for a while I thought it was better. And then suddenly it started getting really bad so I immediately began taking 1 gram of ABC every half an hour. Usually for the first few hours of such a treatment there is no improvement and each time I wonder if I have not simply imagined this antiviral nature of vitamin C, but after reaching saturation, which sometimes takes a while, do you clearly see a sudden improvement. This time, however, there was no improvement. I felt worse and worse. My muscles hurt so badly all over the body that I begged for someone to finish me off. (My friend has just told me that exactly at the same stage she started writing her will ) IT WAS TERRIBLE.

I don’t remember whose idea it was to take my temperature, because I never have a fever, and this time I had over 39 C! I couldn’tget out of bed for 2 days, but I did listen to pople smarter than me and started to build up the dose until I reached 80 grams of vitamin C in one day. 80 grams is almost an entire bottle of ABC! Only then did I start feeling like myself, and after two days of such a dose I was almost up and running. The feeling of heaviness in the chest also disappeared and gradually so did the cough. All in all, it all lasted a few days, and later I told everyone that this horrible thing was DEFINITELY some super virulent mutation of the flu this year, because the symptoms were quite flu-like, and the last flu I had was in college and it was never this terrible.

Five out of six people in our house got sick, but I was already giving them these huge doses right away, so they recovered easily.

At the same time, we had an increased number of orders for ABC with comments that everyone was sick in the family and in the neighborhood. Some parents kept their children at home at the time, whereas kindergartens and schools were decimated, sometimes with only three children attending and no teacher. Do you remember that time before the winter holidays? I remember, because I said, that something super virulent was sweeping through Poland. But not only through Poland, because we had the same stories from Spain, Germany, Sweden, England, the States and even Hong Kong!

We got sick, it was hard, I don’t deny it, but we are alive.

It can be said with high probability that we have just gone through the coronavirus.

Is locking us in our homes instead of testing for the presence of antibodies really the right solution?

80 grams per day of this vitamin C helped me recover from this supposed coronavirus in only a few days - for a regular cold I usually need only 25 grams (25 teaspoons)

Doktor Cheng from Shanghai has just told the story of a Wuhan family of six who got infected with coronavirus in January.

The oldest woman (70) developed a mild fever and general flu-like symptoms. Her daughter immediately put the whole family on large doses of vitamin C of up to 20,000 mg for herself and similar amounts for the others, except for her mother, who was not convinced. Nevertheless, she was taking about 10 grams of vitamin C per day and her condition was good. However, because of her affliction with a severe heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and a lung disease, 10 days later she went to the doctor to check if she had the virus. She was tested and diagnosed to have the novel coronavirus infection. She was then admitted to the hospital, where over the next 10 days her condition deteriorated to the point that she was put on a ventilator in the intensive care unit. Her daughter convinced the ICU chief to use intravenous vitamin C infusions by showing him the information about the results of the first clinical trial of intravenous ascorbate infusions for the treatment of Wuhan coronavirus. The ICU chief agreed to give the patient about 10,000 mg of vitamin c per day. The patient’s condition stabilized, then improved, and after 2 weeks she returned to the regular ward, where she is now expecting to be discharged after another 10 days.

The mortality rate of elderly people with such severe associated diseases in Wuhan is about 5%.

Despite her turbulent period, accompanied by a lot of wasted time, this woman will soon return home in full health.

Furthermore, the other 5 family members who had close contact with her and those who cared for her during her stay at the hospital DID NOT get sick. They most likely got infected, but none of them have shown any signs of infection so far, and it has been 2 months since the oldest woman got sick.

However, all five of them took 20 grams of vitamin C per day.

Similar stories abound. Not only from 2020 but also from 1940.

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant.

Vitamin C reduces inflammation.

Vitamin C kills viruses.

Period.

Being unaware of the above and ignoring the experience of many doctors only to brush it all off as placebo is simply not worth it.

Your life and health are at stake here.

We use this vitamin C for all infections of small and large family members

By not watching the news and not reading the newspapers I have been unaffected by mass panics and still somehow managed to get all the important information.

Only in the last few years we have seen bird flu, swine flu, SARS, and other things I can’t remember, and each of these ‘epidemics’ was to quickly become a pandemic and wipe out at least half of the population. However, this never happened.

Historically, the best strategy for any epidemic has always been the following:

1. hygiene (washing hands, clean water, clean clothes and bedding, ventilating the house, isolating the sick),

2. good immunity (not everyone who was exposed/infected got sick, not everyone got seriously ill, not all of the seriously ill died),

3. being away from human settlements (the largest percentage of the sick and dying was always among the poor living in overcrowded, stuffy, dirty slums that swarmed with rats and vermin – such a sight was quite common, for example, in New York at the beginning of the last century),

4. good general condition (malnutrition, deficiencies, lack of exercise, sun, fresh air – these factors are always harmful for the body).

So let’s think about the potential measures that have an antiviral effect and about things we can do to combat them effectively.

From almost a hundred years of experience of practitioners, such as Dr. Klenner, we know that vitamin C in sufficiently high doses combats viruses within a maximum of 72 hours. The doses that guarantee recovery depend on the condition of the patient and the virulence of the virus. The more severe the patient’s condition, the higher the doses should be used, but always observe the reactions and adapt accordingly.

Dr. Cathcart claimed that when admitting a patient to the hospital the doctor should first give him or her a vitamin C drip and only then think about the diagnosis. A deficiency of vitamic C has a great impact on the patient’s condition and the supplementation of vitami C can greatly influence the pace and course of recovery.

This table shows that the effective dose of vitamin C for flu is 100-150 grams per day, divided into 8-20 doses! So let’s say 5-8 grams of vitamin C every hour.

At the beginning of the month, I tested this when trying to recover from the first flu in twenty years using our successful method: 1000 mg every half hour until the symptoms subside. This time, I had to take 80,000 milligrams in a day before I saw the first signs of improvement.

What can we do to reduce the risk of coronavirus infection?

You can almost certainly do the following. If you watch the news, you may find it difficult to completely calm down, but maybe you will start feeling that you are doing something meaningful and minimizing the risk of getting sick for yourself and your family:

Take care of hygiene, with particular emphasis on washing your hands. Use ordinary soap, but be thorough.

Go out into the fresh air, even if only for a short walk or get out on the balcony during quarantine.

Ventilate you house, especially those rooms where people sleep.

Go out in the sun and build up your natural vitamin D levels (also in UVB tanning beds) or replenish it with supplements.

Eat real, live food – the less processed it is, the better for the bacteria that inhabit the body, which are the basis of our immunity.

Replenish deficiencies – during an infection, the body uses up its reserves of vitamin C and zinc. Vitamin E is also a strong antioxidant.

Avoid crowds.

Avoid white sugar, which creates a toxic environment in the intestines and, among other things, lowers immunity (it also causes sinus inflammation).

So whether it’s influenza, coronavirus, bird flu, swine flu, SARS, RSV, or other viral crap, our strategy is always the same – high doses of vitamin C prophylactically, megadoses of vitamin C during infection, supplementation of zinc, iodine, syrups with propolis, garlic, pine blossom, herbs, honey, colloidal silver…

And since stress, especially chronic stress, is not very good for health, it is better to look at the situation resonably and focus on what you can do. And you can do a lot. We are not passive observers of this performance. We can take our health into our own hands and I strongly encourage everyone to do so, especially parents of young children.

Remember:

1. not everyone who comes into contact with the virus will become infected,

2. not everyone who gets infected will get sick,

3. Not everyone who gets sick will die.

Do what you can to support your immunity and that of your loved ones.

Below is a polite version of my opinion article published in the December issue of Estilo magazine on scientific research and vitamin C. This polite version is proof that I can control my tongue. At least on the second try

On the wave of increased interest in the topic, doctors and experts have been increasingly stating that “Reseach has proven that vitamin C does not work”.

However, every time I come across an evident truism, I start to look at it carefully.

I asked myself why even doctors with professorial titles keep repeating this mantra, when already 80 years ago Dr. Klenner demonstrated beyond any doubt the extraordinary clinical efficacy of high doses of vitamin C. What new scientific research was there that invalidated the conclusions of his research and the experience of his successors in the decades that followed?

Statistics are quite easy to manipulate, and scientific research is not one hundred percent immune to such manipulation – if you choose the right criteria or sample size you can confirm any thesis proposed by the authors of a study. So I assumed that in my analysis of trials of vitamin C effectiveness, I would come across several publications with questionable methodology and it would be the conclusions from these studies that experts refer to all over the world.

I assumed that doctors, overloaded with work, only read abstracts of studies and repeat wrong conclusions simply because they do not have time to delve into the details of these studies and discover their shortcomings. What I discovered, however, were trials with the correct methodology but doses too low to achieve a therapeutic effect. Currently, the recommended daily intake of vitamin C does not exceed 100 mg and this amount helps at most to avoid an acute form of scurvy. The optimal dose that guarantees good health has not yet been established, and in clinical trials the sufficient therapeutic dose is expected to be 400 mg per day for an adult.

Why were such doses determined? Because larger amounts are considered to be completely excreted from the body. The conclusions of studies conducted under this assumption are therefore unequivocal: 400 mg of vitamin C per day has exactly the same effect on the length of a cold as a placebo.

With all due respect to placebo, which also requires serious research because it is too unusual an effect to ignore – practitioners of the use of megadoses of vitamin C know from experience that it can tremendously help shorten the duration of infections. However, this effect can’t be achieved by taking half a gram (less than 500 mg) per day.

So have higher doses been studied? It turns out that they have. They went as high as 1000 mg per day but no specific therapeutic effects were observed either. Of course, this conclusion does not surprise me at all, because during an infection we take 1000 mg every 30 minutes in order to continually add small – in our opinion – doses of vitamin C, which is quickly flushed out of the body. We want to maintain a level of vitamin C in the blood that helps us to overcome oxidative stress caused by the infection and accelerate our body’s regeneration. Even with such doses, the first symptoms of recovery are sometimes observed only after several hours of supplementation, i.e. after taking several dozen grams of ascorbic acid during a signle day! This is at least an order of magnitude more than in the experiments I have found.

So who can go higher? The Australian Centre for Epidemiology conducted a study in 1998 with a ‘megadose of vitamin C’ in its title. It starts well: a randomized, double-blind trial, a control group, seemingly everything as it should be, but the doses that were used did not exceed 3 grams per day. The experiment was therefore carried out correctly, but with the chosen doses it was doomed to fail from the very beginning. (https://www. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11700812)

So far, I have not found studies on the effectiveness of vitamin C in the course of an infection, that would use doses higher than 3000 mg per day. Of course, I do not claim to have searched all the available literature in the world, but it seems that the papers I managed to find are a representative research sample. The conclusions of theses studies could explain the established belief among doctors that vitamin C supplementation during an infection is essentially pointless.

On the one hand, I understand the reluctance of the medical world to experiment with even higher doses of ascorbic acid, due to the fear of kidney stones (for which, by the way, there is no clear scientific evidence). At the same time, however, we have almost 100 years of detailed reports from doctors of various specialties (F. Klenner, R. Cathcart, T. Levy, P. Marik, et al.), who, using doses as high as several dozen grams per day (intravenously and orally), show both the extraordinary antiviral effectiveness of vitamin C as well as its antioxidative, antihistamine, anti-inflammatory, detoxifying properties. Not to mention the work of dr Paul Marik who has been saving lives of patients suffering from acute sepsis by using, among other things, intravenous infusions of sodium ascorbate.

Being skeptical only on the basis of doses that are too low is therefore dishonest in my opinion. At most, you can state that the effectiveness of a given level of vitamin C has not been demonstrated, but it is impossible to conclude that it does not work at all, so it is time for more trials and new conclusions. Throwing the “baby out with the bathwater” on the basis of incorrectly designed experiments, contrary to many years of reports from clinicians, does not serve anyone, least of all patients.

As with any medical procedure, there is a benefit-risk balance to consider, and the risk associated with using a few grams of vitamin C is negligible even for people with G6PD deficiency.

Therefore, I strongly encourage all those who are unconvinced to suspend their skepticism and test high doses of vitamin C on themselves when the first symptoms of the next cold appear. Autumn is conducive to infections and also to experiments: 1000 mg every 30 minutes taken as a supplement that is easily absorbed, in accordance with our tested formula, should bring about a noticeable effect on the same day (https://anna-bee.com/en/blog/beat-viruses-with-vitamin-c/) or after 3 days at the latest. Therefore, the saying that ‘an untreated cold lasts seven days whereas a treated on lasts one week’ can be consigned to the past.

Any excess vitamin C is excreted on an ongoing basis by the kidneys, intestines and liver. The experiment is simple, safe and cheap, and when it turns out to be effective, it allows you to gain a new perspective on the issues of inflammation and illness in general. In fact, there is nothing to lose, but a lot to gain. It’s worth it!

You’ve been asking a lot of questions about why we claim Anna’s Bee C is so amazing, where we take our honey from, if the raspberries come from Poland and if ascorbic acid is really such a savour of the humanity. Well, let me satisfy your curiousity with this hurried post

Indeed, our syrup is absolutely extraordinary – nothing like it was available on the market, so I simply had to create it for us.

We produce our Anna’s Bee C syrups in low temperature, taking extra care not to even get close to 38°C (100,4°F) over which raw honey starts losing its medicinal properties (bacteria, enzymes and vitamins die), while over 40°C (104°F) the very ascorbic acid itself starts to oxidize and disintegrate.
The honey we buy comes straight from the beehives in Warmia&Mazury (the cleanest lake districts in Poland): it’s raw, clean and unprocessed, which means it contains 100% of the claimed honey in honey, which unfortunately is not that obvious when buying it off the shelf in a store.

The raspberries we use come from local raspberry farmers. As long as we have stock, we use organic, but this year we’re planning to use organic raspberries only. Fingers crossed. We process them also in low temperature, so that they lose nothing of their dietary goodness, and thanks to enzymes, bacteria and vitamins proper absorption of the syrup is ensured.

Our L-ascorbic acid is, of course, food grade, and produced in the process of fermentation of non-GMO fruits and vegetables. As opposed to, let’s say, B vitamins – sourced often from petroleum, coal tar or acetylene gas – this vitamin C molecule is bioidentical and bioavailable, not synthetic and impossible to absorb by the human organism. Yes, the ascorbic acid is made in a lab, but it’s manufactured by bacteria in a fairly natural process, so it is identical to the vitamin c found in an apple, and recognized by the body as such.

Anna’s Bee C syrups are raw and pretty much alive, so they have ongoing processes in them. Even when stored in cool, they delaminate with time, which only shows how bioactive they are. Always remember to vigorously shake the bottle before using, as the thickest and most sour part goes always to the top, and can affect your facial expression. And if after a month or so the syrup will stratify significantly, you can shortly blend it and pour back into the bottle. It will then behave well for a while again

Right now, the suggested expiry date of the syrup is 3 months from the day of production, but I’m convinced once we finish our tests, it will officially be much longer. Such high concentration of both honey and ascorbic acid (used as preservatives in their own right) protects the syrup from going bad for many, many months.

I realise I could have made it all more practical – we could pasteurise the whole thing to death and stretch its expiry date to 2 years. But that wasn’t our goal at all. Our vitamin C is supposed to work exactly like in nature, and nature has not heard of pasteurization. We want Anna’s Bee C to give back to you everything it has in store, and to be maximally bioavailable, which is only possible in the presence of bacteria, enzymes, trace minerals, bioflavonoids, polyphenols, other synergisitc cofactors, antioxidants, phytonutrients and – what’s important – natural sugars. We want each ingredient to be medicinal in its own right, and in addition to complement and boost all the others as well.

Of course, it’s best to use strictly natural sources, but in order to have as much vitamin C in a teaspoon of our syrup, you’d need to eat 15 apples or 10 oranges! That’s simply impossible, especially with required 1 gram an hour in a viral infection, or when we want to strengthen our child’s immune system. So when we need a quick fix, we can take this super-concentrated dose and know it’ll work as if we ate those 10 oranges. Every 30 minutes
Yes, I did consider using powdered acerola or wild rose hips, but the problem with them is that from the very moment of their production, they start losing vitamin C. After a few months of unknown transport conditions and who-knows-how-warm-storage, nobody can really tell any more how much vitamin C is in there. I, on the other hand, was looking for a guarantee of the highest potency and a sure mega-dose of vitamin C. This is why a bioidentical L-ascorbic acid molecule, drowned in a cocktail of honey and raspberry goodness became an ideal solution.

I’m stubborn about sticking to the dark, glass bottle, as I have no intention of storing acid, weak as it is, in plastic containers, while sun rays and temperature cause vitamin C to oxidize.
If you want your Anna’s Bee C to stay maximally potent, keep it in the fridge, care for it like it’s a sweet, little pet and it’ll repay you with the whole friendliness of the life it hides inside

Organic sulphur (MSM) is an essential element for proper organism function.
Athletes use it in combination with vitamin C to boost their efficiency while training and to speed up regeneration after workout.
Also patients suffering from joint problems take organic sulphur to radically improve their condition, lessen the pain and rebuild malfunctioning joints and cartilage.

Methylsulfonylmethane is a necessary part of healthy diet, but unfortunately it doesn’t reach our plates due to soil-depleting farming practises, food processing and storing. Most residents of hi-tech areas unknowingly suffer from chronic sulphur deficiency, instead they diagnosed with ‘growing pains’, ‘degenerative diseases’, etc.
MSM is not a golden cure for everything, but it’s one of the basic building blocks the body uses to heal itself.

Organic sulphur is a basic nutrient enabling cellular respiration, regeneration and detoxification, but it acts also as a precursor to amino acid function. There are quite a few sulphur-containing amino acids, among others: cysteine, methionine and keratin (hair, nails), elastin (skin), glucosamine and chondroitin (cartilige) responsible for building, regeneration and elasiticity of the connective tissue (collagen: tendons, skin, bones, veins, arteries, mucous membranes, retina).

Proposed dosage
It is best to start saturating the organism with sulphur gradually, beginning with 1,000 mg MSM in the morning and evening (2 teaspoons of the syrup 2 times a day).
In case of serious ailments, you can slowly build the dose up to 12,000 mg/d (4 x 2 tsp / day), but it’s worth knowing that some people do not see a significant improvement under 30,000 mg/d.
In any case, build the maximum dose slowly and carefully not because MSM is toxic (its toxicity is comparable with drinking water), but because it increases detoxification, which in turn can manifest itself in headaches, pains, fatigue, general weakness, rashes, nausea, and diarrhea.

Suggested daily doses of MSM (start at 1 tsp twice a day):
Prophylactic: 1 tbsp / day (1,500 mg MSM + 1,500 mg vit C).
Training/workout (before/after): 2,000 – 3,000 mg (eg. 2 x 1 tbsp)
Joint regeneration: 10,000 mg (eg. 4 x 2 tbsp)
Pain/stiffness of muscles; carpal tunnel, geriatrics: 6,000 mg
Detox: 15,000 mg + hot epsom salt baths / sauna
Antiparasitic: 8,000 – 12,000 mg
Anti-allergic/anti-asthmatic: 3,000 mg vit C + MSM every hour until tightness lessens (max. 50,000 mg/d)
Lupus: 6,000 mg
Restoring proper intestine/stomach function: 1,000 mg MSM + 1,000 mg vit C
Respiratory distress: 1,500 mg

Just a reminder:
1 teaspoon (tsp) of Anna’s Bee C MSM contains 500 mg MSM + 500 mg vit C
1 tablespoon (tbsp) of Anna’s Bee C MSM contains 1,500 mg MSM + 1,500 mg vit C

In the case of MSM, saturation symptoms are identical to those caused by vitamin C: you know you’ve had enough by your stomach or bowel response. You do not want to push your system too hard, so if your digestive tract suggests it’s overloaded, better slow down a bit and wait until you can resume.
